During the meeting, the Armenian Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with Dr. Rouhani's visit to Yerevan, saying that his country wants to develop more relations with Tehran, "we are determined to increase the volume of relations and relations between the two countries, especially in the economic field.” He added.
Nikol Pashinian noted: "Trade cooperation in border areas with Iran is of great importance to Armenia and we seek to strengthen cooperation in these areas."
Both leaders also touched up on the natural gas and electricity barter agreement between two countries and the Armenian president called for the extension of the agreement by year 2040.
