UNESCO’s positive response to Iran's request

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Aras Free Zone Organization,Yousef Dadashzadeh said: the UNESCO-Iran National Commission, in a letter to the UNESCO, announced Iran’s readiness to submit a request for a universal registration of Aras Geopark as the only volunteer from Iran.
He added that on the tenth of July, UNESCO welcomed Iran's readiness and asked to submit a final case by the end of November and finalized legal assessment and verification processes by international evaluators.
Dadashzadeh thanked Qeshm Global Geopark for helping to provide technical assistance.
To mention, last week, the member of the National Commission of UNESCO in Iran, visited the latest Aras Free Zone activities in Aras Geopark and said: for universal registration of Aras geopark, good actions have been done and it will be registered as the Middle East second Geo-Park with a high score by UNESCO assessors.
