The CEO of Aras free zone organization stated: “Our most important strategy is to develop investment and to attract foreign investors.”
Khadem Arab Baghi added: “There is a common room for cooperation between Iran and neighboring countries, the Joint Parliamentary Committee and Joint Commission of governments and activation of relations has had good results and this trend still continues.”
He added: “Currently, 15 foreign industrial companies and nearly 400 active units are being built and are active in this area and job opportunities have been created for seven thousand people.”
He also stated: “Armenians have expertise in the areas of mechanics, electronics, electrotechnics and agriculture and can have good activities in the field of machinery construction in this region.”
Khadem Arab Baghi added: “Aras free zone, as an influential area of the competent country of Iran has been able to make considerable progress in recent years in the fields of manufacturing, industry, export, agriculture, mining, and business and commerce; thus, the businessmen and investors of neighboring countries can benefit from the good advantages in Iran to boost economic ties.”
