From March 2014 to May 2014, sixty six million dollars of goods were transited from Aras Free Zone to over 14 target countries of the zone in various parts of the world.
The export of these goods, weighing over 10 thousand tons, has had a 144% growth in dollar value compared to similar period last year. Goods were exported to countries such as Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Emirates, and Germany.
The main goods exported from Aras Free Zone Custom during this period include various kinds of heavy and light duty trucks and motor vehicles, oil products and chemicals, industrial oil, urban and home furniture, electric appliances and mechanical machinery.
During this period, sum of 28 million dollars of goods have been imported to Aras Free Zone, including the import of goods in passenger luggage and motor vehicles.
