The foreign transit from Aras Free Zone in the first six months of this year reached 103 million dollars worth, and in the same period the productions of active factories in this region reached 93 million dollars worth limit.
According to the report of public relations and international affairs of Aras Free Zone Organization the major transited goods from Aras are machineries and mechanical equipments, overland vehicles and truck requirements, helicopter, glass containers, glue and rennet of cheese, various foodstuffs and dried fruits, electrical appliances, various garments, and plastic and rubber products.
These goods have been transited to Turkey, Taiwan, Pakistan, Georgia, United Arabic Emirates, Armenia, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Uzbekistan, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Afghanistan.
In the first six months of this year, 9500 tons of non-oil goods valued 60 million dollars and more than 50 thousand tons of refinery and petroleum products valued more than 33 million dollars have also been produced in 72 manufacturing units of this region.
The major non-oil goods produced in the factories of Aras Free Zone are household furniture, cosmetics and sanitary materials, types of threads, cell phone, motorcycle, UPVC door and window, plastic bag and roll, grill chicken electric oven, packed raisin, types of elevator cabins, polyethylene appliances, children's play park, cabinet board and types of MDF.
Eighty-four to ninety-four octane gasoline, hydraulic oil, distillate fuel, granule, light and heavy hydrocarbons, refined and processed gas oil and other petroleum derivatives are among the oil productions in Aras free zone.
