AFZ Org. & Iran’s Consul General in Nakhchivan Ask for Jolfa-Nakhchivan Railway to Be Revitalized, Aras Products to Be Promoted in Azerbaijan Markets in Nakhchivan visit

Stating that the Consulate General of Iran in Nakhchivan can play an effective role in creating a dialogue on the use of existing rail capacities, he said: Considering the long-standing relations between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, it is expected that trade between them develop, and in this regard, Aras products should be promoted in Nakhchivan and the Republic of Azerbaijan market more than ever.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Aras Free Zone Organization also attended the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a special guest during this trip and spoke about the industrial, agricultural, export and transit capacities of Aras.
He said: The export volume of Aras Free Zone to the Republic of Azerbaijan from 2013 to 10 months of this year was 105 million dollars, and the Republic of Azerbaijan has been recognized as the second export destination of Aras in these years.
