“One of the important provinces in the development of greenhouse projects is East Azerbaijan province, Aras Free Zone, in which we support economic activists in this field with all our might”, the deputy minister for horticulture affairs said.

 Appreciating and thanking the organizers of Aras Expo 2023 and the Specialized National Forum on Structural Components and Equipment of the Modern Glass Greenhouses, referring to the Supreme Leader's orders regarding the importance of food security, said: "The Ministry of Agriculture has a very important mission in providing food security”, he added “by moving towards the production of export-oriented products, the country will earn foreign currency, and of course, we have achieved significant success in this sector”.

Boruomandi said: Horticulture is very important because nearly 25 million and 700 thousand tons of horticultural products were produced in the country this year.

He considered the setup of megaprojects as one of the important programs in the horticulture sector and said: Free zones can be proper destinations for implementing the important megaprojects in this field.
