George Okoyo, the representative of the Kenya Tea Agency (KTDA), during his visit to Aras Free Zone, said that the purpose of his visit was to get to know more about the advantages and investment incentives of Aras Free Zone and added: We have examined most of the industrial and economic areas of Iran and according to the evaluation of the potential and practical markets; European and Asian markets, Aras is the best region for the development of Kenya's tea business, Aras Free Zone Public Relations & Intl. Affairs reported.

“We were surprised by the capacities and capabilities of Aras Free Zone” he added, “in the field of industry and agriculture, and the activities that take place in this part of Iran are amazing”.

The Kenyan businessman stated that our products are exported to Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq and Turkey, adding: easy access to the mentioned countries due to the geographical location, development of business relations with new target countries and benefiting from investment advantages and profitability is our reason for choosing to work in Aras.

In this meeting, the deputy director for economic and investment affairs of Aras Free Zone Organization responded to the questions of Kenyan investors raised on free zone regulations and procedures.
