Exports from Iran’s Aras Free Zone up 58%
Some $63 million worth of goods have been exported from Iran’s Aras Free Zone, since the beginning of this year, which began on March 20, showing a 58 percent rise on the same period in last year.
Aras Free Zone is located in Iran’s northwestern East Azarbaijan Province.
The exports amounted to 67,000 tons in weight, showing a 95 percent growth year on year, the IRIB reported.
The goods have been exported to Germany, Georgia, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, and UAE.
Trucks, furniture, copper ingots, gasoline, diesel oil, kitchen equipment, carpets, and motorcycles were among the exported goods.
