During his first trip to the Republic of Armenia, Abedin Khorram met and talked with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan, together with the Director General of the Aras Free Zone Organization and other members of the economic and commercial delegation of the province, Public Relations & Intl. Affairs reported.

Referring to the composition of the provincial delegation, the governor of East Azerbaijan said: "We have tried to make this delegation a practical, operational and executive group, and not a ceremonial group, and we can achieve positive and acceptable results in this trip."

Among the private sector activists on the board there are those who were interested and ready to cooperate with the northern neighbor of our country, and also had a relative understanding and positive attitude towards cooperation with this country,” Khorram reminded.

At this meeting, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan, Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri, also expressed satisfaction with the visit of the trade and economic delegation of East Azerbaijan to Armenia and said that the embassy of our country is ready to support cooperation with private sector activists and remove obstacles for the activities of investors and exporters of the province in this country.
