A Memorandum of Understanding between the Aras Free Zones of Iran and Meghri of Armenia was signed on the sidelines of the 17th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries in Yerevan.

According to the Aras FZ Public Relations & Intl. Affairs, Paven, the ministry of power website reported that an MOU between the Aras Free Zones of Iran and Meghri of Armenia was signed on the sidelines of the 17th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries in Yerevan.

In this memorandum of understanding, the two sides stressed the need to prepare the ground for more cooperation between the economic activists of the two countries and the use of special facilities of the Iran-Armenia Free Zone to develop industrial, production, trade and trade relations.
