Referring to the opportunities, challenges and common interests of Iran and Russia, the governor of East Azerbaijan said: "We have all the facilities to develop relations and we hope that with the approaches of the 13th government, relations between the two countries will continue deeper, warmer and more meaningful than before."

The Governor of East Azerbaijan, in a meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iran, stated that Dr. Ra'isi's visit to Moscow was a turning point and a new chapter in the relations between the two countries.

He also said that we have two free and special economic zones in the province that have transit and rail infrastructure, and if joint investment is made in these areas, the field of transit hub and Logistics will be provided in the province.
