Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Meets with Public Sector Managers, the Board of Economic Activists

On the eve of the visit of Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade to Armenia, our Ambassador to Armenia hosted public sector managers and around 30 representatives of Iranian companies at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan on Tuesday, March 1.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss with Armenian officials, evaluate the opportunities for expanding trade relations between the two countries and talks with Armenian economic activists living in Yerevan.
Explaining some of the main obstacles and problems in boosting trade with neighboring states, Mr. Zohouri postulated the effort for clearing the hurdles and increase synergy of various institutions.
A number of private sector representatives then exchanged views on their areas of activity, including construction, public companies, Iranian companies present in Armenia, agro-industry associations, fisheries, and knowledge enterprises.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of our country, who is visiting Armenia at the invitation of the Minister of Economy, will pay a two-day visit to Yerevan to meet with various economic and banking officials of Armenia.
