Economic Diplomacy Should Be Developed Especially with Neighboring States, Iran’s Ambassador to Ankara Says
The Governor-general of East Azerbaijan in a video communication with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ankara, which was attended by Mohsen Nariman, Chairman and CEO of the Aras Free Zone Organization and other economic officials of the province, stated that our country’s ambassadors are expected to prioritize the economic diplomacy in a dynamic way while referring to the president’s emphasis on use of privileges and potentials of the border provinces.

Pointing out to the problems related to money transfers and banking issues arising from the harsh sanctions, the governor of East Azerbaijan called for coordination with the Turkish banking system to set up a barter system for Iran's export goods.
“Development of "Jolfa-Cheshmeh Soraya" railway project is necessary,” Mohammad Farazmand, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkey said. - Jolfa-Cheshmeh Soraya railway project is the railway plan if implemented it will connect Jolfa city as the center of Aras Free Zone to Turkey.
