Exporters to Russia Informed
Considering the non-observance of the ten-digit coding (TN VED) by some customs declarants of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation and its non-acceptance by the customs of the mentioned country, in order for the exporters of goods to Russia to benefit from the discounts, they are advised to make sure to prepare their declarations in accordance with Article 20 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Considering the non-observance of the ten-digit coding (TN VED) by some customs declarants (exporters) of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation and its non-acceptance by the customs of the mentioned country, in order for the exporters of goods to Russia to benefit from the discounts, they are advised to make sure to prepare their declarations in accordance with Article 20 of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Hossein Kakhaki the Director General of the International Customs Cooperation Office of Iran announced: According to the mentioned article, all goods at the time of customs declaration must be classified by the declarant with the ten-digit tariff code of the coordinated system of goods in Russia (TN VED).
Kakhaki stated: in case of non-observance of the provisions of this article, the customs of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union will directly act on the classification of the mentioned goods.
“Non-compliance with the stated code, as well as the certificates and licenses provided, will cause problems, especially fines, to the declarant of Iranian goods”, he said.
