The presence of a foreign investor will prepare the ground for processing minerals extracted from the mines of the province and the producing silver and copper wires in the Aras Free Zone.

In a meeting with the CEO of Aras Free Zone and an investor from abroad, grounds for investment in the fields of mining, mineral products, importing and assembling of the special heavy mining machinery and production of silver and copper wires in the Aras Free Zone by this investor was reviewed and agreed upon, Public Relations & Intl. Affairs of Aras FZ reported.

The Russian investor said that his leading goal of investing in Aras was its special location, access to railways and proximity to the Eurasian countries, and that he was ready to use special mining machinery for his use.

This foreign investor is active in various countries, including Georgia and the Eurasian region, employing over 2,500 people in the field of processing raw materials extracted from mines and producing high value-added products area.
