According to the Aras Free Zone Organization's Public Relations and International Affairs, Sadif Azadmard announced the news: "In order to support domestic producers, with coordinated plans and facilitating the review of the applicant units setup consistent with the criteria, with the cooperation of the deputy for food and drug in the province, we saw an 88% increase in applicants for investment in this field in the Aras Free Zone last year compared to 2019. It came after reviewing 54 businesses.
Food and Drug Administration of Aras Free Zone Organization has been created in Aras since February 2018 with the aim of using the internal and external capacities of the organization to expedite and facilitate matters related to monitoring, evaluation and issuance of licenses for production, clearance, export and import of health-oriented goods within the framework of the executive style guides.
Issuance of licenses for clearance and consumption of raw materials and processed, as well as some affairs of the General Directorate of Supervision and Evaluation of Natural and Traditional Products, are complementary to other duties that this management has in the Aras Free Zone.
