The CEO of Aras Free Zone Org. in the webinar of Iran-Armenia trade ties said: “considering the special connection status and the easy rules of international investment in Aras, we can increase per capita income in case of officials support.
He noted one of the ways to help the national economy is the consensus of neighboring states’ heads on free trade in the form of the Eurasian Union and said: “Aras Free Zone with over 50 thousand ha area on the bank of Aras River is capable of economic development and able to play an effective role in trade transactions with the Eurasian Union member states and in entering the European markets”.
On live streaming with the chamber of commerce, Iran’s ambassador to Armenia and other relevant organizations to benefit from the Eurasian Union, Mr. Nariman said: based on the rules and agreements, trade tariff reductions for more than 800 items between Eurasian Union member states and Iran has been implemented.
A virtual conference on Iran-Armenia Trade Relations in collaboration with the Iran-Armenia Chamber of Commerce titled “capacity recognition in the development of Iran-Armenia economic cooperation in the shadow of the Eurasian Union Agreement” was held by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce on 20 Dec. 2020.
