The deputy director for economic and investment affairs announced $240 m exports from Aras Free Zone over the six months in 2020. He said that the value of the exports resulting from the products of the zone was $82 m and added: compared to the same period last year the figure shows a 6% growth for the $77 m exports.
“According to the goods that are exported, main items include dried goods, plastic products, jumbo bags, and propylene belt, hydrocarbon, steel billets,... Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, UAE, Armenia, the Czech Republic, and Uzbekistan are the main destinations for the zone’s exports.
