Iran’s Ambassador Visits Syunik Province in Armenia and Nurduz Border
Mr. Zohuri, ambassador the extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Armenia, visited the Syunik province and the border region in Nurduz on Tuesday 18 Aug. meeting with the officials and different government bodies of this country.

Governor of Jolfa and officials from Aras Free Zone Org. also attended the meeting and exchanged views on benefiting from the capacities to bolster the two countries ties.
Iran’s ambassador to Yerevan met with Mr. Hunan Poghosyan and his staff in the governorate-general in Qapan city as well. At the meeting, referring to both nations who have a long friendship and neighborhood history and the existing capabilities to expand the economic and cultural relationship on either side of the border, Mr. Zohuri put emphasis on some of the important actions that should be taken to get the MOU between Syunik and Iran’s provinces implemented.
Iran’s ambassador also visited the customs on both sides of the border and met with their officials and looked into the procedures there.
